Alan 78 Pro is conceived for multi band frequencies and designed for long journeys and routes in Europe: it has in fact a power output (1W / 4W) that can be changed according to country regulations. Alan 78 Pro is able to to scan available channels and is equipped with the EMG key on the front panel for immediate selection of the Emergency channel 9 . TheLCD blue back-lit display clearly shows the functions set and the S-Meter indicator, which shows the rx and tx signal strength. Alan 78 Pro is high tech and perfect even when dealing with noise: its Digital Squelch eliminates background noises, while the Noise Blanker eliminates continuous environmental noise. The supplied microphone belongs to “Precision Series”, with Up, Down and Lock buttons. Alan 78 Pro has sockets to connect to an external S Meter, to an external speaker and a 6-pin microphone connector.
