The Nissei CSI-1830 is a classic linear transformer DC power supply, built with the traditional heavy-duty design that many radio operators and electronics enthusiasts still prefer today.
Unlike modern switching power supplies, the CSI-1830 delivers a clean and stable DC output with very low electrical noise, making it ideal for radios, test benches, and sensitive electronic equipment.
The output voltage is adjustable from 1.5 to 15 VDC and the large analog meters clearly display both output voltage and current. Multiple output connections are provided for flexible operation, including standard binding posts, terminal blocks (3A), and a cigarette lighter style socket (10A). The power supply delivers up to 20A continuous output with a 30A peak capability for demanding applications.
